About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Young Persons Mentor to join a supportive school community in Penarth. This full-time position begins in the new academic year, starting in September 2024.

Responsibilities:

Provide educational and emotional support to pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs) and/or Autism.

Collaborate with other staff members to monitor and adjust pupils' progress according to their individual needs.

Engage confidently with learners, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.

We Are Looking For:

Individuals with experience in supporting young people with SEMH and/or Autism.

Those considering a career change from support work, caregiving, or other SEN roles.
