Milk Education are recruiting for a School Reading Buddy for a Primary School in Sefton, L20 to work on a long-term basis starting September! This is a school who prides itself on being supportive and inclusive, with high standards of attainment and behaviour.

School Reading Buddy Role & Responsibilities:
• Work with children who may be struggling with reading, lack language skills or have little confidence
• Support pupils to apply comprehension strategies independently to reading tasks, contexts and subjects
• Plan and deliver 1-1 reading interventions suitable for primary aged children
• Carefully select texts to match each student's reading level, these texts are used in targeted lessons where you will work with students to improve their comprehension skills
