An opportunity has arisen within the Green Services team for an Grounds Maintenance Operative currently working within the Gardening gang.

Your responsibilities will be:

To carry out a range of gardening, horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks, contributing to the appearance and the environment within and around Sandwell.

You must have:
• Experience of working in a horticultural environment.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety including COSHH, Risk Assessments, Working at Height, and Safe Methods of Work.
• Ability to drive a variety of council vehicles
• Ability to operate a range of mechanical and manual horticultural tools.

PLEASE NOT THAT THE START DATE OF THIS ROLE IS 2.9.24.

Interviews will take place at Taylors Lane Depot, Oldbury.
