EghamA brilliant opportunity to join a strong purchasing team supporting all administration functions throughout the department. £27,000 basic salary / chance of promotion plus other benefits! The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for: Identifying new stock parts and suppliers as per specifications Identifying suppliers including account set ups and establishing credit terms Raising purchase orders and establish lead times for the delivery of stock parts, hires and sub-contractors etc. to meet contract deadlines in liaison with contracts engineers/managers. Chasing outstanding orders and assisting with PO corrections Managing all Credit card Ad-Hoc purchasing and document processing. Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality. Liaising with stores to monitor and maintain stock levels and with colleagues identify future stock requirements and support current manufacturing methodologies.
