Cleaning Operative

Derwentside IRC

Full time, 40 hours,

Shifts include weekend, shift pattern: 7:30am-4:30pm

£24,000 per annum + Excellent Corporate Company Benefits

We are recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join us at Derwentside Immigration Removal Centre female only accommodation, where we are responsible for all aspects of detainee safety, security and welfare provision, facilities management and catering.

The primary function of this role is to provide cleaning services to Derwentside IRC which includes office areas, residential areas, and outdoor areas.

Responsible for cleaning all areas within the Derwentside IRC estate using a variety of cleaning equipment and materials and to report any cleaning appliance faults promptly.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures and regulations - COSHH- are adhered to and be competent in the use of all chemicals and cleaning materials provided.
