Design X-Press is a well established (30 years) large format print solutions business based in County Durham. We offer all aspects of wide format print including pull up banners, outdoor banners, posters, boards, signs and exhibition graphics. We supply a wide range of sectors including retail, hospitality, leisure, pharmaceutical, financial and construction. We also supply central and local Government and the NHS.

The apprenticeship will be for a Print Operative Level 2 qualification and once completed the applicant will have the opportunity to go on to complete Level 3 as a Print Technician.

Position includes all aspects of large format print/ finishing including:
• Banner stand finishing
• Press operation and maintenance of both roll to roll and flat bed LED technology presses
• Pre press and use of RIPs
• Trimming
• Packing and collation
• Health & safety
• Quality assurance
