Sheridan Maine are working in partnership with a market leading Newbury based organisation who are seeking a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. This excellent opportunity will provide an individual with full study support and the chance to gain a broad range of accounting experience and skills. - Bank reconciliations - Month end support including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, prepayment & accruals - Intercompany accounting - Assisting with the budgeting process - Produce monthly key reports for the business - Variance analysis - Profit and loss reporting - Fixed assets - Cashflow forecasting - Assisting with the audit - Interaction with a wide range of stakeholders - Develop analysis and IT skills To be considered for this rare position, you will have the following skills and attributes: - Prior experience of working within an office environment (preferably finance but not essential) - Competent Excel knowledge - A keen interest to become a...
