The position reports directly to the General Manager. The incumbent will ensure that both budgeted sales and order intake levels are attained through effective establishment of a sales network and by prospecting the customer base. An important element of this position will be understanding competitors and business strengths and weaknesses. The individual is a key member of the management team and will assist the General Manager in creating a competitive advantage.

The company employs around 50 staff and produces high quality wear resistant castings for domestic and export markets in the shotblast and resource sectors totalling approximately £5M per annum.

The position purpose is to develop an environment of continuous improvement for all sales and marketing related operations, keeping the focus on achieving company targets and key performance indicators.
