Are you an experienced car mechanic/technician? Become a Bus Mechanic in 10 weeks with Arriva! Having had great success in the past with mechanics from Light Vehicle/HGV backgrounds, we are excited to announce we are offering a training programme designed to upskill to fully qualified Bus Mechanics in just 10 weeks. Our Bus Mechanic Training Programme will cover: Health & Safety, Electrical, Airbrake, Mechanical, Suspension, CAN line systems and Hybrid and EV vehicles, following successful completion. The modules are also designed to cover ramp and door system maintenance along with MOT preparation and test standards. Once you’ve successfully completed your 10 weeks at our dedicated Stockton Training School, you will gain an IRTEC L2 Accreditation (Heavy Vehicle Service Maintenance Technician) and a full time, permanent position at our Redcar Depot.
