Position : Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechcanical Development Engineer

Location : Lincoln

Hybrid : No, this is an on-site position

Salary : £35,000 - £50,000

Role & Responsibilities

The Mechancial Design Engineer provides Mechanical design on selected product and system development programmes. Multidisciplinary project teams will be formed per project and the you will typically be working on a number of development projects. You will have general experience in all aspects of Mechanical design including;
• 3D CAD, manufacturing tolerancing and techniques, design for manufacture and product folder generation
• Keeping abreast of the latest manufacturing techniques
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure their proposed designs can be manufactured cost effectively
• Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to project mechanical design requirements
