Empowering Learning are looking for SEND Learning and Behaviour Support Worker to work in a specialist SEND school situated in Ilkeston. The role is supporting the schools older pupils in and out of the classroom, with their learning and behavioural needs. Experience working in a school setting and experience with SEND pupils is favourable. Experience within the a sector with transferrable skills may also be considered.

Required Experience:

Have experience working with young people

Be highly organised with excellent communication skills

Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children

Have an interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND

Have experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable not essential)

Be able to supply school with teaching references

Be a part of the school team taking part in the wider school environment
