Introduction

DAYBREAK FOODS requires the services of a suitable candidate to produce good quality chickens that will reach optimum production at point of lay and ensure that operations adhere to deadlines, budgets and quality standards.

Key Performance Areas
• Reporting deviations to Farm manager
• Ensure all rearing staff are trained, mentored and supported in all applicable area
• Preparing of houses before chick placement to ensure environment is suitable for day old chick arrival.
• Receive chicks, verify numbers and quality and ensuring that water is available
• Ensure the drinker lines height and pressure are at the correct height
• Ensure environmental conditions are always suitable for the birds
• Ensure grading is done
• Planning and ensuring strict Biosecurity procedures are maintained
• Keep to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to maintain adequate biosecurity and make sure that staff is trained to uphold it
