ALT=Assistant Language Teacher. ALTs work in public/private preschools, elementary, junior high and high schools in assisting JTE(Japanese Teacher of English) and HRT(Homeroom Teacher) in team teaching the classes.

You will be instructed or requested by the JTE as regards the content of the lesson in order to expand the students’ knowledge of other countries and their lifestyles with a focus on improving speaking, listening, reading and writing.

APS ALTs: We are Global Communication Teachers (GCT) breaking barriers using the power of language.
