Replacement GP required in Melrose in the Scottish Borders from April 2024

Due to retirement , an exciting opportunity has come up to join our 4 partner practice in a stunning location from April 2024 (willing to wait for the right candidate). At Eildon Medical Practice, we operate a system of total telephone triage and the acute service is mainly run by our team of 4 Advanced Nurse Practitioners. We also employ a Practice Nurse to oversee and manage CDM. This means the GP’s are able to focus on long term patient care. We are a friendly and close clinical team working in a supportive environment.

· 4 to 6 sessions per week (permanent Monday to Friday)

· Partner or sessional option available

· Generous holiday allocation

· 7,000 patients over two sites

· Semi-rural setting (one hour by train to Edinburgh)
