1.1Drive and be responsible for allocated vehicles. Duties will include: vehicle checks, required routine maintenance (eg oil and water checks) and cleaning; transport goods, equipment and personnel; assisting in the loading and unloading of vehicles using where appropriate mechanical aids; completing of associated paperwork.
• Labouring Duties 2.1Undertake work in public parks, playing fields, landscaped areas and similar open spaces, i.e. general maintenance of these areas, eg grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves and litter; constructional labouring work: erection and dismantling of sports and other equipment; clearing eg public buildings such as changing rooms and toilets. Maintenance of fencing eg concrete posts and chain link wire.

2.2Responsible for reading plans, evaluating jobs, selecting materials and completing tasks to timescales.
