Overview

As part of the Accounting team, the Staff Accountant assists in reconciling various accounts, reconciling bank accounts, processing journal entries, assisting with the monthly closing as well as various special projects and adhoc reports.

Responsibilities

•Assist in monthly close process including journal entries, reconciliations and analysis for various accounts.•Partner with related areas for complete understanding of accruals and book adjustments as necessary.•Reconciliation of Store Bank Accounts•Identify shortages and communicate to Loss Prevention, District and Regional Managers•Ad hoc reporting and analysis•Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement•Assist in the reconciliation and analysis of various balance sheet accounts with variances and touch points to last year and budget•Royalty accounting and reporting•Assist with additional projects for Inventory, Finance, and Accounting as requested
