The Brockton School Committee invites dynamic education leaders to apply for the position of Interim Superintendent of Schools. The Brockton Public Schools is the fifth largest school district in Massachusetts and proudly serves among the most diverse student populations in the state. The Brockton Public Schools serves approximately 15,000 students with a budget of approximately $252M annually. Brockton is home to 23 schools ranging from pre-K to virtual to alternative schools to the state’s largest high school.

APPLICATION DETAILS

Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume and two references by June 7, 2024 to amartin@masc.org. The Committee has designated a Subcommittee to review candidates in executive session and will advance finalists to the full School Committee for a public interview. The expected start date for the new interim superintendent is on or before July 1, 2024. There is no specific term of employment for this role.
