School Immunisation Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for recruitment into our School Nursing Team in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as a Band 5 School/Immunisation Nurse. The post will be 30 hours per week term time only on a permanent contract. The Base will be in Pontypridd and will cover the Taff area.

The successful applicant should be committed to team working and possess excellent interpersonal skills. They will play an integral part in the School Nurse Vaccination programmes that will include the extended nasal FLU programme in secondary schools. They will support the School Nursing Team working with school aged children and young people in a range of Health Promotion activities in conjunction with the Welsh Government Public Health Agenda.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
