We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Northampton to assist with the appointment of a Housing Options Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £27 per Hour (Umbrella rate)

Responsibilities:
• Provision of housing advice and assistance to households who are homeless or threatened with homeless in accordance with Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996, including the determination of homelessness, eligibility, priority need, local connection, and intentional homelessness.
• The conducting of casework, issuing of statutory decision letters, recording of outcomes, negotiating with landlords, health and other support agencies, and production of personal housing plans.
