Position: School Counsellor Required Hertfordshire

Aldwickbury School

The role is primarily to provide one-to-one counselling to pupils, to maintain confidential records, and to liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Leads and other professionals as required.

The School Counsellor is directly responsible to the Headmaster for the operation, organisation, administration, and management of the needs of the pupils when they are in school.

The Deputy Head is the line manager for the position.

The hours of work for the School Counsellor are 1.5 days. Ideally,

Thursdays from 8 am to 4 pm and Fridays 9 am to 12 noon.

This is a term-time only, school-based role.
