A regional house builder have a requirement for a Land Buyer to join their Land and Planning team.

About the role - Land Buyer

Reporting to the Land Director, the role is to identify and procure new land/development opportunities, from initial sourcing, agreeing Heads of Terms and contracts through to contract. It will involve liaising with the Technical, Commercial and Sales department, collating site particulars and data packs to prepare land appraisals in readiness of formulating bid submissions or negotiation with land owners.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying / negotiating land opportunities and purchases via agent contacts, planning leads and off market openings.
With approval of the Land Director produce and present land offers and negotiate best possible terms.
Develop and maintain a good understanding of the Company's land appraisal system.
