Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Business Change and Communications Advisor to join the Waste Regulatory Reforms Programme. This is a temporary role until the end of March 2025 however there is the possibility of extension, subject to funding.

Defra’s Resources and Waste Strategy identified a number of reforms to waste regulation to help us drive towards a circular economy. Implementing this portfolio of legislative reforms is a ‘once in a generation’ opportunity to make a seismic shift in the way waste and resources is managed in this country.

You will:
• Provide Communication and Engagement expertise across the programme
• Create materials and portals for better implementation of communications
• Developing and maintaining a Programme Sharepoint Site
• Building and maintain relationships with Communication and Engagement leads across the programme.
