The Departmental Records Office (DRO) are custodians and managers of the history of the Department of Health and Social Care and more than 200 former healthcare organisations through the records they have created. We are responsible for ensuring that DHSC delivers on our obligations to manage records against the Code of Practice issued under Section 46 of the Freedom of Information Act (2000) and the Public Records Act (1958).
