An opportunity is available for a Leg Ulcer Nurse to work alongside the Tissue Viability Service in Sefton Place. The post holder must be a registered nurse (NMC) with experience in wound care and leg ulcer management. The post holder will provide clinical expertise in the specialist field of leg ulcer management, being able to work autonomously to achieve person centred care. To work with key members of primary and secondary care to provide, advice, support, care plans to patients within the relevant identified specialist field. This is a secondment or fixed term post for 12 months.

The post holder will support district nursing and treatment room services in Sefton Place providing care for patients who require lower limb assessments, dopplers and compression bandaging to manage leg ulcers.
