Our client based in Leeds are searching for a apprentice electrical engineer who will join an well established manufacturer working on PPM, preventative and some reactive maintenance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is consistently expanding and improving!

Job Role

To assist with the organisation and completion of all internal and external maintenance activities;

Responsibilities - All working alongside a skilled engineer
• To carry out preventive maintenance activities, in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance schedule; and to ensure adequate resources for effective planned maintenance are available.
• To maximise plant reliability and efficiency, and to achieve continuous improvement, through the implementation of appropriate lean manufacturing techniques.
• To assist with the gathering, recording, and evaluation of statistical process data; and to produce reports on machine efficiency.
