The Centre of Competence on Ageing (CCA) in the Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care (DEASS) at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) in Manno, is recruiting a Researcher with a social science background. The researcher will collaborate on a new project entitled: Understanding the intersection of informal caregiving for older people and paid employment among later-career adults in Switzerland: a gendered, life course perspective. Work percentage: 80-100%. Expected start date: 1st September 2024 (or to be agreed).

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The project is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and aims to understand how life course experiences in the labour market shape informal care provision for older family members and its relationship with paid employment along later-career adults.
