Key Responsibilities / Duties :

1. Provide technical guidance to the production department.

2. Manage the product development cycle of assigned new product design and existing product improvement projects.

3. Direct component manufacturer selection, PCBs layout and manufacture, new product prototype assembling and testing.

4. Support all current products manufacture and problems and issues associated with products and processes.

5. Create or update product specifications and descriptions, production and PCBs test specification.

6. Supervise engineering personnel, and outside contractors required for the product development and manufacture; insures that the proper engineering resource is utilized to solve the task.

7. Manages and tracks several ongoing cost savings projects, eliminates non-value-added activities and manufacturing improvement.

8. Supervise and ensure the company building maintenance, hazardous waste activities, and safety policies and procedures compliance.
