JOB SUMARY

The Senior Buyer reports to the Procurement & Logistics Manager and must be responsible for handling the procurement processes for Services, Equipment and Materials, covering new acquisitions, amendments and claims.

The specialist must be able to plan the demands, identify and validate players in the internal and external markets, equalize, negotiate prices composition, taxes and minutes of contract. As well as to support the end user with collaborative interaction model providing all support required, giving visibility of the process stages, following up close and providing clarifications required to have a proper technical evaluation in order to determine the most desirable suppliers in line with Vale and Vale Malaysia’s budget, strategic objectives, vision, mission, values as well as corporate direction.
