Knight Piésold Southern Africa is an International Engineering and Environmental Consulting company providing services mainly to the mining, water supply, and civil engineering industries. We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Phalaborwa team.

Minimum requirements:

· The ideal candidate must have a BSc/BEng (Civil) degree.

· Specialisation in the geotechnical aspect of civil engineering in a mining environment with at least three years of experience.

· Extensive experience in the mining and geotechnical engineering field is essential.

· Experience in the design and management of tailings storage facilities.

· Experience in mining infrastructure projects.

· Excellent project management skills will be seen as an advantage as well as experience in site investigations.

· Sound client relations are key.

· The candidate must be willing to work independently and take ownership of projects.

· PR Eng will be advantageous.
