Senior Materials Technician

Knight Piésold requires an experienced Senior Materials Technician to be appointed on a project in Masekwaspoort. The estimated duration of the project is 30 months.

Minimum Requirements:
• NDip Civil or BTech Civil
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA or similar
• Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng is preferred with 5 years of experience or an experienced senior staff with more than 10 years’ experience
• Prior experience on SANRAL projects beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the teams involved on site including the Materials Technicians and the onsite laboratory etc.
• Develop a close relationship with the Lab Manager and ensure that technical and contractual requirements are complied with.
• Responsible for the review, testing and sign-off on all data and test reports, after verifying test results.
