Duties

Operates full service Espresso Bar. Prepares a wide range of drinks including but not limited to lattes, espressos, Americanos, and cappuccinos by selecting the proper grind of the coffee shot and following set recipes for each individual variation of drink.

Must be able to follow basic requirements for each type drink but not limited to preheating the portafilter, knowing the difference in grinds of coffee, knowing how long should a shot take to brew into cup, preheating the cup, how to "pull" and "tamp" into the portafilter, difference in frothing and steaming milk, and able to know difference and relay information to customers on the differences in drink choices.

Sets up Espresso Bar for operation and obtains cash bank. Maintains neat and clean work area. Washes Espresso Bar equipment and utensils.
