This position is assigned to the Karing Kennels activities. Performs administrative duties related to the operation of the activity. Receives customers and provides information such as boarding procedures, grooming services, quarantine requirements, pet adoption procedures, animal turn-in requirements and procedures, lost and found program, retail merchandise, and other related topics. Collects fees and operates a cash register/POS. Ensures safeguarding of assets and prepares cashier reports. Completes boarding agreements to include verifying all required information, such as proper identification, shot requirements, dates, required medication, emergency contact information, and other related topics. Completes animal turn-in forms to include reviewing animal records determining the appropriate fee and pertinent historical information to include health, disposition, and bite hold reports on file if any.
