QA Operator - Irvine

A vacancy has arisen within our clients Quality Assurance Team for a QA Operator.

This is for a 1 year fixed term to cover maternity (could potentially lead to full time).

Shift Pattern:Monday-Friday (6am-4pm)

Working hours will be based on a 24/7 Continental Pattern (Shift rota is 2-2, 3-2, 2-3)

Salary:of 13.84 per hour. 28,865 per year.

Job Purpose:This role is responsible for assisting in the sampling and checking of incoming goods, in-process material and finished products.

Duties will involve:
• Sampling and Testing of daily incoming goodsand in-process materials to assure product quality.
• Recording and labelling of all sampled goods.
• Checking certificates of conformity from suppliers.
• Reporting non-conformances where applicable.
• Supporting the general duties of the labratory.
• Perform routing end of line quality inspections.
• Routine calibration checks.
