Medical Engineer (Workshop based)

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000

Location: Midlands

Job Purpose: Conduct medical engineering activities within a workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform pre-installation checks and in-house diagnostics.
• Document and report findings accurately.
• Identify and report common faults.
• Follow all regulatory, quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with sales and field service teams for seamless product delivery.
• Provide remote assistance and troubleshoot issues for end-users.
• National travel as needed; occasionally deliver and repair items.
• Follow company SOPs for adverse events and product complaints.

Skills & Experience:
• Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
• HNC in electronics or equivalent experience required.
• Field service and biomedical equipment experience desirable.
