You will be the National Geomorphology team’s coastal and estuarine technical expert. Working alongside others, you will help to shape how our coasts are managed in the future, and you will get involved in operational activity on the ground.

You will oversee the coastal and estuarine geomorphology discipline. You will work alongside senior specialists to understand key goals, plans and policies (and, where required, help to shape future versions), and identify opportunities to apply geomorphological science strategically within policy, guidance and practice. You’ll promote working with natural processes to increase resilience to climate change and achieve key goals and targets (e.g. in 25 year Environment Plan).
