Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a marine company based in North Vancouver, BC. We are looking to hire a Human Resource Generalist to join their team on 3-6 month contract, with strong potential to extend or become permanent.

Your responsibilities:
• Collaborates with the HR team to build and implement best practices relating to attraction, retention and development of employees based on understanding of operational requirements, research and technical expertise.
• Assists managers in developing business plans for position development and recruitment.
• Assists in the administration of the compensation program by developing job descriptions, coordinating salary evaluations and re-evaluations, and maintaining/updating necessary documentation.
• Guides managers in the use of performance management systems, the development of performance plans and the preparation of relevant documentation for salary increases.
