TEMPORARY ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSISTANT

35 HOURS/WEEK until August 30, 2024

Nature And Scope Of Work

This is accounting and diversified clerical work in checking, processing and controlling a variety of accounting data relative to accounts receivable and the preparation for computer processing and checking output. Work is performed under general supervision with independent judgement and action within limits of accounting and departmental practices and procedures. New, complex or unusual problems are referred to a supervisor. Work performance is reviewed for accuracy, completeness and conformance to internal standards and practices. The Accounts Receivable Assistant exercises courtesy and tact in routine contacts with school district staff, suppliers.

Required Knowledge, Abilities And Skills

Thorough knowledge of accounts receivable operation and system.

Thorough knowledge of CCRA regulations regarding variety of donations and income tax receipts.
