The Mental Health and Wellness Therapist provides counselling support to students and families to increase the student's chances of success by developing positive skills that assist them in managing issues and events impacting their functioning. The Mental Health and Wellness Therapist is accountable for the development and facilitation of interventions designed to foster and promote stable home and community relationships. The Mental Health and Wellness Therapist uses systemic approaches to enhance students' social/emotional well-being in the school environment by establishing settings that promote mental health and wellness.
