Cultural Advisor And Cree Instructor Required

For ST. PAUL SCHOOL DIVISION

St. Paul Education requires a 0 . 75 FTE Cultural Advisor and 0 .25 FTE Cree Language Instructor commencing the 20 24 - 25 school year.

St. Paul Education is located in St. Paul, Alberta and serves approximately 3700 students at 18 school sites.

The Successful Candidate Will

Provide assistance to the Cree language and culture instructors with the planning and delivery of lessons in collaboration with the FNMI Program Coordinator.

Promote communication and positive relationships between the division schools and community.

Serve as a Key member of our Division Indigenous Learning Committee, which will spearhead initiatives from our Division Plan for Truth and Reconciliation.

Assist with planning division or school events (e.g., feasts, round dances, Orange Shirt Day Ceremonies, National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebrations, school and division Pow wows, etc.).
