GI Group are currently looking for several Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our client in Cheadle Heath This is an ongoing position, with the possibility of a permanent contract after 12 weeks. The hours of work are Monday - Friday. The hourly rate is £12.59 and starts are available immediately Working hours are 7.00am till 2.54pm Monday to Friday* Driving licence needed *Duties include:-To undertake Grounds maintenance and horticultural duties in the following areas:Parks including countryside parks, green areas including highway verges, landscaped areas, planted areas, council properties, recreation areas, cemeteries, schools and other public amenity areas.To drive a range of vehicles with gross vehicle weight up to 3.5 tonnes including tippers, mechanical sweepers, ride on mowers, tractors, small mechanical diggers, platform vehicles, chipping machines etc and be responsible for daily vehicle checks and adjustments, brush maintenance, routine cleaning and defect reporting.To work...
