Qualified Social Worker - Older Persons Mental Health Team

up to £35 per hour payrolled via an umbrella company

We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join Bridgend County Borough Council for an initial 3-6 month period while a member of the team completes the Approved Mental Health Professional qualification. This is a full time position offering hybrid working; 3 days per week required on site. Pay rate for this role is up to £35 per hour payrolled via an Umbrella company.

The team provides support to individuals over 65 who come under secondary mental health services under the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010, as well as individuals under 65 diagnosed with dementia whether they are in primary or secondary mental health services.

Ideal candidates will ideally have experience of working with older people with mental health needs but we are happy to receive applications from candidates with adults services experience.
