Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Forfar, is currently looking to recruit a Building Clerk of Works for an initial 9 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £166.97 - £180.89/day Umbrella. This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor on-site contracts and report to the contract administrator on building services installations with regard to contract compliance, quality of workmanship, progress.

- Instruct contractors on site within the terms of the contract.

- Liaise with Contract Administrator and co-ordinate trades within separate trades contracts.

- Undertake all duties associated with the Support for Learning and Housing, acting as adviser, service provider and “landlord” representative as required. Liaise with Clients on repairs and new works, obtain estimates and quotations as required.
