Tailor made are excited to be recruiting for an award-winning manufacturing company with over 40 years of industry heritage. They are seeking Quality Engineer to join their team of experienced engineers.

You will be responsible for driving improvement and proactively tackling areas requiring development. They are responsible for project managing the transfer of parts between suppliers and New Product Development, including the part approval process and validation testing.

About you:
• Completed Higher National Certificates (HNCs) or Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) a engineering background - mechanical or electrical preferable
• New Product Introduction process knowledge
• Ideally would look for experience of a process-based quality systems and the maintenance and auditing of ISO:9001
• Some supervisory or line management would be beneficial but not essential
• Demonstrable working knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement tools and techniques
