Role: Quality Engineer

Salary: Up to £50,000

Tailor made are excited to be recruiting for an award-winning manufacturing company with over 40 years of industry heritage. They are seeking Quality Engineer to join their team of experienced engineers.

You will be responsible for driving improvement and proactively tackling areas requiring development. They are responsible for project managing the transfer of parts between suppliers and New Product Development, including the part approval process and validation testing.

The role:
• Investigate operational problems affecting the production line and deal with them in a systematic, methodical manner with managers, engineers and operators
• Flawless execution of all supplier related projects including transfers, specification changes and improvement plans
• Identify and manage any necessary improvement plans with the focus on driving a reduction in PPM performance
