Assala Energy is a young and dynamic Oil and Gas Exploration and Production company with an exciting operated asset base in Gabon, firm core value and a keen sense of responsibility to our employees and stakeholders.

We are looking to identify and attract a Cost Controller to join our Finance Team in Port-Gentil. Your main areas of responsibility will cover:

Cost Control:

1. Active participation in the monthly and yearly period end close;

2. Review and prepare cost transfers forms (TCFs/ ACFs);

3. Ensure compliance with cost control processes and propose refinements where appropriate;

4. Ensure the Master Data in SAP is maintained with activities structure and contracts (JOA/PSC);

5. Prepare commentary for the direct cost review during the month end process, ensuring the accuracy of OPEX and CAPEX figures.

6. Support in explaining the Assala Cost Allocation to internal and external parties such as JVPs, State auditors….
