RPS are working in conjunction with a well established automotive, aerospace and defence component manufacturer in Burnley, who following a period of growth are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join them on their Burnley site.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for;
• Acting as the first point of contact for customer related quality issues
• Completing 8D reports
• Leading material review board meetings
• Supporting the NPI function through completion of PFMEAs and PPAPs
• Supporting the lay out inspection function

The ideal Quality Engineer will have/be:
• 2 + years in a similar Quality Engineer role
• Experience in a heavily regulated manufacturing industry (automotive, defence, medical)
• Experience of PFMEA, Control plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8D and process capability tools
• Working knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF 16949 required
