Procurement Administrator - Burscough - Permanent - Up to £27k

Forrest Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this successful organisation who have been established for 30 years and are specialist in their field. Based at their modern head office, the function of the role is to provide a comprehensive Administration support function to the procurement team and to co-ordinate resource materials for jobs across multiple sites.

Key Duties
• Placing subcontract and material orders using the bespoke system following correct company procedures
• Negotiating rates and payment terms with suppliers to ensure the business is getting value for money
• Maintaining the supply chain database -list of 300 suppliers
• Liaising with external suppliers to validate their compliance
• Supporting the Buyer in obtaining quotes and placing of orders with internal and external suppliers
