Role: Position: SEND Teaching Assistant. Location: Burton upon Trent Salary: £85.55 - £105.55 Daily Hours of work: Full time, 8:15am-4:15pm Temporary Start Date: September 2024 End Date: July 2025, with the potential to extend into the new academic year Responsibilities: Supporting the classroom Teacher in daily tasks and activities Providing support to a pupils with ASD, SEMH and Moderate to Severe Learning difficulties Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students both physically and mentally Preparing resources and the classroom Monitor pupil progress and identifying gap in learning Building trusting relationships with students and prioritising their social and emotional wellbeing. Requirements: We are looking for someone with previous experience SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within a Pupil Refferal Unit setting.
