Role Summary

Well established South African-based Company specialising in Office Stationery since the early 1950s is looking for Credit Controllers

Responsibilities
• Work within the framework of set collection targets as agreed with management
• Managing and Controlling Debtors Ledger
• Month end
• Accurately recording all necessary account adjustments into journals after authorisation
• Work through unallocated cash recon
• Reconciling of accounts, particularly those over 60 days
• Draw up journals with supporting documents
• Allocate according to the remittance
• Follow up on remittances
• Recording all payments received
• Collecting all outstanding balances
• Manage arrear accounts and keep bad debt to a minimum
• Monitoring credit limits and communicating with the Manager
• Allocating payments and settlement discounts

Minimum Requirements
• Excel knowledge is a requirement
