A fantastic opportunity to work for a successful local business based close to Ely. This is a varied role and our client is offering a competitive salary and rewards package. We are looking for a friendly, approachable team player with proven relevant experience working in a busy accountancy role.

Duties will include:
• Setting up sales on the internal system
• Entering client details and checking their VAT status
• Invoicing
• Taking payments for invoices
• Chasing unpaid invoices
• Dealing with VAT queries
• Producing financial statements
• Dealing with general queries, face to face, telephone and email
• General administration duties

Experience/skills required:
• Proven experience in an accounting role
• Able to deal with a varied workload
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Strong IT skills including working knowledge of word and excel

Hours of work:
